Northern Youth Rapid Chess Championship: A Victory to Remember

I’m excited to share another milestone in my chess journey. In 2019, while I was in grade 2, I had the honor of competing in the Northern Youth Rapid Chess Championship Tournament. It was a challenging and exhilarating experience, and I was proud to bring home some fantastic results!

The news from our school truly warmed my heart: “Congratulations TM!!” I achieved 2nd place in both the overall 8-year-old and 10-year-old categories. Even at a young age, these victories serve as a reminder that talent knows no bounds. I owe my success to countless hours of practice, the invaluable support of my teachers, and the encouragement of my peers.

In a gesture of gratitude and school pride, I proudly presented my trophy to NIS. This trophy stands as a symbol of our community’s shared dedication to excellence in chess, and I hope it inspires other young players to chase their dreams on the board.

Every game has taught me valuable lessons in strategy, patience, and perseverance. This accomplishment is not just a personal triumph, but a shared victory with everyone who has supported me along the way.
